My husband, Jay, and I (shown here circa when my hair was a bit longer) are from the Chicagoland area, where we are raising our two “kids”, Sasha and Lady. (yes, they’re dogs) So this is why you’ll never see me do a post on parenting – it would be shallow advice at best.
I can, however, help you raise a dog. We also have a cat named Paprika, and even though she acts like her brain’s been marinating in tequila, she’s so loving it melts you.
I’m a graphic designer by day (and usually night) but my real passion is ministry. My desire is to see not just people brought to Christ, but to also have a deeper relationship with Him. I’m digging as deep as I can every day to increase not just my knowledge of God, but to have a richer understanding of Him. I’ve known since I was a little girl that I was called into the ministry, specifically leading worship, but my heart is getting bigger and bigger for outreach right now.
If you’ve read my posts, you’ll see that I write from where God is dealing with me – in life and in marriage. If I’ve been a little too informational at times, please understand that even though the filter between my brain and the keyboard may seem a bit thin, it’s because I can’t just sit here and offer encouragement or instruction without first showing that it’s coming from an authentic place. As a reader, I would want that. So as a writer, I will give it.
So thank you for visiting my blog – being able to write again has brought a lot of clarity into my life, and that makes it worth every keystroke.
God bless,
Christine

Thank you so much for last Sunday … the worship was fantastic.
We will stay in touch.

You think your cat is something.
You should meet Moses.
Crazy, but very loving too!
Oh! I what to say, I enjoyed seeing everyone again, under the surcomestands.
The cupcakes were great!
Till we meet again!

Waiting to see more “keystrokes” – where ya been? I hope all is ok with you and your families. Peace.
Connie
